Story
Hi folks,
Just over six months ago, we lost a great friend, Yo, to Melanoma. If you were lucky enough to meet her even once, you will understand the presence she had. This gal was everything. Kind, outrageously funny and loving. She breathed life into the most mundane moments and we all count ourselves very lucky to have had her in our lives.
In honour of Yo's memory and recognition of Melanoma Awareness Month in May, a group of Yo's friends have taken on the challenge of running to raise funds for research into melanoma, hoping to find a cure. We hope, in the future, that no one else will have to endure what Yo and her family had to.
For our leg of the journey, Jonny Mclean and I are going to run the first leg of the Xterra trail series.
